Structural Agriculture Museum

Although agriculture is seen as the production of crops, the seasonal weather and climatic changes demanded that farmers create structures to store and protect their product and their animals.

In the past, agricultural engineers built bridges and aqueducts to join cultures and facilitate the trade of crops. Today these engineers design structures from simple barns and silos to complex processing facilities and intricate underground irrigation systems.

FARM will display the process through which structures have changed and how they are designed today. Surveying demonstrations and scaled models of farms and their infrastructure will help the public appreciate the technological advancements in structural agriculture.
